Analysis of the Evolution of Income Disparities Among WAEMU Member Countries

The main aims of this study are to examine the income disparities’ evolution among West-African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) countries over period 1980-2019, determine whether reforms implemented in region since 1994 have helped reduce or accentuate disparities Member States Union. approach used for analysis is that sigma-convergence. It consists studying dispersion time, standard deviation being generally as measure dispersion. results obtained show a reduction per capita inequalities WAEMU States.
